One player takes on the role of the Ship's Computer, the other players are Crewmembers, recently awoken from cryosleep.
Each round the Ship's Computer will communicate System Reports (true facts about the current board state) and Requests (controls you would like the Crew to change) using their own randomly generated language:
System Reports: ㊈ ɸ ⁂ |
Requests: Ʉ 米 ɸ 个 웃 ɸ ‡ ⁂ ‡ |
However, the translation software is damaged, and the Crewmembers only know what a few of the computer's glyphs mean. They must work together to decipher what they can, and use their limited turns to adjust the controls.
Once all twelve indicator lights turn green, both teams win!
Components:
You are a Crewmember, and need to turn the remaining indicator lights green.
You know the following glyphs:
ɸ Is / Equals |
㊈ Autopilot |
个 Three |
米 NAV |
And you just got the following messages from the Ship's Computer:
These are TRUE facts about the current board state (before you make any changes), but aren't necessarily correct.
These are changes the Ship's Computer wants you to make in order to turn the indicator lights green.
Make your changes to the board, and try to get all green lights!
